- This study is entitled "Culture of Nyambai shifts at Marriage Celebration in Banding Agung District of South Ogan Komering Ulu District. The issues raised from this research are the process of Nyambai culture shift in the community of Banding Agung District and the cause of Nyambai culture shift. The purpose of this study is to understand the process of Nyambai culture shift and find out the cause of Nyambai culture shift in the people of Banding Agung Sub-District, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan District. This research is a descriptive qualitative research to describe the process and causes of Nyambai culture shift. In determining the informants carried out purposively with the aim of getting more in-depth information in accordance with the research problem. The results of this study indicate the process of Nyambai culture shifting that there is a mixing of the culture of the Banding Agung Subdistrict community with a different cultural community due to mixed marriages, the Banding Agung community adapts to outside cultures, as well as the development of people's mindset so that it changes the shape and process of Nyambai and the causes of its occurrence Nyambai culture that is single and girl taking education outside, the development of technology and information and the inclusion of cultural culture outside the culture in the District of Banding Agung, causing a shift in the culture of Nyambai.
