The effectiveness of communication through the WhatsApp application among Metro TV Bureau Palembang employees, was conducted to determine the value of the effectiveness of communication on the use of the application, that the communication used, and the satisfaction of employees in discussing in the group on the WhatsApp application. This research was carried out because to measure how effective the communication between employees is in the group on WhatsApp. In conducting this research, researchers used quantitative methods. The research instrument used by researchers is by distributing questionnaires directly to employees of Metro TV Bureau Palembang as many as 32 people. So based on data analysis, by giving a score on the answers chosen by respondents using a Likert scale. After searching for the average value of the total score obtained, this study got results that the effectiveness of communication between WhatsApp Application users based on the dimensions of internalization with an average score of 138.75 stated good, based on the dimensions of self-identification with an average score of 134, 85 which is declared good and based on submission dimensions with an average score of 138 declared good. Of all these parameters, it was concluded that the effectiveness of communication between WhatsApp application users by Metro TV Bureau of Palembang's Private TV Station employees was effective.
