FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN STRES KERJA PADA PENGEMUDI ANGKUTAN KOTA JURUSAN PASAR RAYA-LUBUK BUAYA PADANG

- Stress is an emotional and physical response that can be merely annoying or harmful. The city transport is one of exposure risk of work stress. Initial survey conducted showed that 66.7% of drivers are on the working stress conditions. The aim of this research was any work stress related factor city transport drivers heading for The Pasar Raya- Lubuk Buaya Padang. Design type was quantitative and crosssectional study with 50 people’s sample that fit of inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis data results this research carried out two stages, univariate analysis and bivariat Chi-Square’s test. The results showed that 56% of City Transit drivers suffered stress of work, mostly aged ≥ 30 years, the majority has also been working as driver for city transpor ≥ 7 years and have been married, and the minibus driver's income is largely still in low the category (<Rp 2.000.000,-), and the demands of heavy duty as well as interpersonal angkot driver or co-workers demands. Bivariat analysis shows variables age, period of employment, marital status, income, and interpersonal demands having relationship with stress occurrence city transport drivers of The Pasar Raya-Lubuk Buaya Padang public transportation. Construction acceleration of terminal was expected to be completed in order to comfort drivers while working. In addition, the drivers should not force their self over working, it has also adjusted well with drivers age because their capabilities will correspondingly decrease while increasing age and long working period and also respect between interpersonal city transport associates.
