- This reseacrh entitled “Discipline of Working Unit Police Unit Sabhara Unit in Palembang Police”. The background of this research is the number of law violations committed by members of the police unit Sat Sabhara in the Palembang City Police Force as many as 174 cases in 2012 to 2016. In 2016, the prosecution of members of the police who lowered the honor and dignity of the police was ranked hignest with 12 cases and avoids second-line service responsibilities with 5 cases. The purpose of this study is to find out how the Discipline of Working Unit Police Unit Sabhara Unit in Palembang. This research uses quantitative descriptive method. This study uses Singodimejo’s theory in measuring in four dimensions of work discipline that is obedient against the rules of time, obedient against other regulations in institutions. Data collective techniques using questionnaires with the number of indicator items that exist in this study are 42 statements with a population of 190 people and samples taken as many as 66 people. Instrument variable work discipline has alpha coefficient value of 0.763 with r table of 0.2042. The result showed that the Work Discipline of Police Unit of Sabhara Unit at Polresta Palembang has been running well with the result of the respondent’s overall recapitulation of 66% or at interval distance of 56%-75%. The result of this study recommend that the Unit Sat Sabhara Police Unit should apply reward and punishment system to the employes, maintain and further increase the utilization of working time while working hours are underway, and service level of Police Force Unit Sabhara Unit should be indiscriminate and discriminatory in the settlement public complaints.
