  • This research is based on the problem of the limitation of communication between the teachers with the principal and the less effective teacher performance evaluation in SMA country 1 Pemulutan. The formulation of the problem in the research is whether there is influence of communication effectiveness of teachers on the performance of teachers in SMA country 1 Pemulutan and how much influence the effectiveness of communication of teachers to the performance of teachers in SMA country 1 Pemulutan. The theory used in this research is the theory of communication effectiveness by Stewart L Tubbs and Sylvia Moss and teacher performance theory according to Piel A Sahertian. This research uses quantitative research method. Data obtained from the primary data is through the spread of questionnaires and secondary data is through several documents, evidence, literature, archives, and reports the work of SMA country 1 Pemulutan. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques and explanative analysis techniques using simple linear regression. The results showed that the effectiveness of teacher communication showed significant to teacher performance variables of 0.190 or 19%. Hypothesis accepted because hypothesis testing show t value count bigger than t table at 5% significant level with ratio 4,398> 2,024.That is, there is influence of communication effectiveness of teachers on teacher performance in SMA country 1 Pemulutan.
