  • For a PR practitioner, media relations is a must. The relationship with the media is done to support the success of PR activities, the activities which are seen from the theories expressed by Aceng Abdullah (2000) include press release, press conference, press tour, press gathering, coverage of activities and press interviews. This study aims to see how media relations activities conducted by Public Relations PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tok Data collection techniques in this study is by documentation studies, in-depth interviews of four informants and non-participant observation by observing the activities of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk Public Relations in running media relations. The results obtained from this qualitative descriptive research show that media relations activities conducted by Public Relations of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk is the spread of press releases, press conferences, press visits, press gatherings, coverage of activities, press interviews and media visit. Although the performance was not optimal PR/or their intervention but the activity of Public Relations of PT Semen Balfour (Persero) Tbk in nmning media relations goes well.
