SKKNJ fa about the competence or expertise that must have a public relations in running profession as a professional public relations, this SKKNI role to uniform the professional competence of public relations practitioners and to produce public relations personnel in accordance with the standardization. The method used in this reasearch is a qualitative research method while data collection techniques from this research are in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The informants in this research are Public Relations, Assistant Deputy General Manager (ADGMJ and HRD PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Palembang Branch. From the results of this study it is knoM n that public relations qualifications at the public relations division of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Palembang Branch is in the qualification ofjunior public relations, the determination of this qualification is done by the HRD and refers to SKKNJ communications and informatics public relations sector. The results of this study is compacted that the application of public relations qualification in the public relations division of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) Palembang Branch has a very good qualification and this assessment also refers to the points contained in SKKNl
