  • This study aims to find out how far the implementation of Route Control policy (Network Crossing) Goods Transport In Palembang City in order to implement the Regulation of mayor palembang number 59 Year 2011. The research method used is qualitative method. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are done through observation, interview and documentation techniques. The result of the research shows that Implementation of Route Control Policy (Network Crossing) of Goods Transportation In Palembang City has been implemented, but not yet run optimally because there are some obstacles. Constraints faced during the implementation of this regulation include lack of supervision. Supervision has not been optimal due to lack of hours of supervision and limited authority on the dishub of Palembang city to crack down on what is needed during the supervision. This thesis recommends that the operational hours of supervision should be added again as well as the clarity of authority in cracking down. The Department of Transportation needs to coordinate the time division of supervision in the field. Implementing re-socialization to drivers and employers of freight to increase discipline for drivers in driving, as well as meet the need for signs of prohibition passing for freight transport in order to achieve the desired goals.
