FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN KOMPLIKASI PERSALINAN DI INDONESIA (ANALISIS DATA SEKUNDER IFLS 5 TAHUN 2014)
Daftar Isi:
- Background: Labor is a normal reproductive process that has a risk for complications. The most frequent complication was bleeding that was 10.1%. Early detection of risk factors for complications of pregnancy and childbirth as well as the treatment of complications that are as early as possible is one of the efforts to prevent maternal and infant mortality and death. This study uses IFLS data 2014, to determine the risk factors associated with the incidence of complications of childbirth in Indonesia. Method: This research is a quantitative research using cross-sectional study design with sampling using multistage random sampling to get the sample of 845 respondents in accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria. While the total population in this study amounted to 8,063 respondents. Analysis of research data using complex samples analysis consisting of three stages: univariate, bivariate with chi-square and multivariate test using multiple logistic regression prediction model. Results: This study showed that the incidence of labor complications was found in 426 respondents (50.5%). The pregnancy complication variable is the variable that has the greatest effect on the occurrence of birth complication after controlled by ANC quality, hypertension, mother work, mother education, delivery place, and birth attendant (PR = 2,185; 95% CI = 1,844-2,589). Conclusion: Variable maternity variable is variable confounding to variable of delivery place. Research suggestions that pregnant women can conduct quality ANC visits regularly in order to prevent complications during pregnancy, maternity assisted by health personnel, and maternity health care delivery.
