  • Kumpai Grass (Hymenachne acutigluma) with combination of agricultural waste and plantation has not been utilized optimally. Combinaton with optimal composition will increase livestock productivity trough increased. The aimed of this experiment to know “Nutrition Quality Evaluation of Kumpai Grass (Hymenachne acutigluma) Based Ration that Combination with Cassava Leaves and Palm Oil Mill”. This experiment was held on August until September 2017 at experiment cage Laboratory and nutrition and feed Laboratory animal science departement Agricultural Faculty of Sriwijaya University. The method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment is composed of R0 (85% Grass flour kumpai+ 15% Concentrate), R1 (55% Grass flour kumpai + 30% Flour Casava Leaves + 15% Concentrate), R2 (55 % Grass flour kumpai + 30% Solid+ 15% Concentrate, R3 (55% Grass flour kumpai + 15% Flour Casava Leaves + 15% Solid + 15% Concentrate). The variables observed were Dry Material Analysis, Crude Protein, Crude Fat, Crude Fiber, Ash Content analysis, Neutral Detergent Fiber and Acid Detergent Fiber. The results showed that ration treatment of copper grass based on combination of cassava leaves and palm sludge significantly influenced dry matter analysis, crude protein, crude fats, coarse fiber, NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber) and ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber) (P<0.05), while the treatment of rations based on grass mixed copper through combination of cassava leaves and oil palm sludge did not affect the analysis of ash content (P> 0.05). The conclusion of this research is the combination of cassava leaves and palm sludge can improve the quality of nutrient rations based on grass kumpai tembaga. The best treatment was in treatment (R2), that is dry material 92,48%, Crude fat 17,15%, Coarse fiber 26,47%, NDF 42,96, ADF 30,52%.
