  • Having a breakfast for everyone, especially school children including teenage aged 13-15 years old began to seek self-identity by maintaining the appearance of the body, one attempt to maintain the appearance of the body that consume less energy and do not want breakfast, especially in teenage girls in junior hidh school of Palembang. This study was investigate to find out variabels related to breakfast habits on teenage girls This research includes quantitative research with cross sectional and Cluster rundom sampling and than Random sampling technique is sistematic random against the population of young women ages 13-15 and the number of research samples 216 people. The results showed the existence of the relationship of breakfast availability (PR= 12,235; 95% CI= 4,656-32,149; p=0,00), time traveled to school (PR= 0,489; 95% CI = 0,265-0,904; p=0,021), self efficacy (PR=1,944; 95% CI=1,013-3,733;p=0,044), ideal body perception (PR=2,077; 95% CI= 1,147-3,763; p= 0,015) with breakfast habits in teenage girls. The need for information delivery through counseling in adolescents in schools about balanced nutrition, dietary habit and the right breakfast consumption and than activate School Health Effort to conduct health activities of body mass index measurements and provide information for teens to know the ideal body weight.
