- This study entitled "The Development of Islamic boarding school in the village of Abdur Rohman Kikim Bungamas Eastern District of Lahat Year 1991- 2016 (Contribution Course Material In History and Development of Education)".The problems in this research is how the formation process Pondok Pesantren Abdur Rohman, how the development of Pesantren Abdur Rohman years 1991-2016, and how the Pondok Pesantren Abdur Rohman impact on life in the village Bungamas Society. The purpose of this study was to determine the history of the formation of Pesantren Abdur Rohman, to determine the development of Pondok Pesantren Abdur Rohman years 1991-2016, as well as to determine the impact of Pesantren Abdur Rohman on people's lives in the village of Bungamas. This study uses historical method with the steps: heuristics, criticism of sources, interpretation, and historiography. The result showed that the Boarding School Abdur Rohman established in 1991, with the First madrasa stand when it MTs (MTS). In 1992 established madrasas Second, the RA (RA), in 1995 established the madrassa Third namely Aliayah (MA), and in 2008 stood madrasah Fourth and Fifth namely Islamic Primary School Open (SDIT) and vocational schools (SMK). Until 2016, Pondok Pesantren Abdur Rohman has five Madrasah. Each year Pesantren Abdur Rohman has evolved, both of infrastructure, teachers and students. With the Pondok Pesantren Abdur Rohman and many madrasa owned course impact on people's lives in the village of Bungamas both in the fields of religion, education, economy, and social fields.
