PRODUKSI UMBI TANAMAN BENGKUANG (Pachyrizus erosus L) YANG DIBUDIDAYAKAN SECARA ORGANIK DAN ANORGANIK

- The aim of this study was to compare production of yam bean tubers cultivated in organic and inorganical technologies. The research was conducted in November until Maret 2018 in the experimental field, Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatera. The study was arranged in complete randomized design followed by Methode Orthogonal Contras (MOK). Organic cultivation used with organic fertilizer from cow dunk with three different dose of 60g/plant, 110g/plant and 170g/plant. Inorganic cultivation was fertilized with 1.6g NPK/plant. The result of the research indicated that organic cultivation produced improved parameters compared to those of inorganic cultivation. Tuber yield was bigger in size and more weight compared to inorganic yield. The use of dose 60g organic fertilizer for plant produced better outputs for all parameters.
