KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELAS VIII MATERI PELUANG PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MELALUI MODEL ELICITING ACTIVITIES

- This research is a descriptive study which aims to determine the ability to think critically of the eighth grade students of the opportunity material in mathematics through electing activities models. The subjects of this study were VIII.C grade students of Junior High School Number 1 of North Indralaya totaling 28 students. The learning process takes place in accordance with the steps of Model Eliciting Activities approach. Data were collected using tests and interviews and analyzed descriptively. The results showed that in general the students' critical thinking ability in learning mathematics through electing model approach activities of opportunity material in class VIII.C grade students of Junior High School Number 1 of North Indralaya was categorized well.
