  • This research is descriptive research that aims to describe student's mathematical communication ability of angel relationships through PMRI approach in SMP Negeri 1 Palembang. Subjects of the research were 26 students ofVli.9 class SMP Negeri I Palembang. Leaming process is in line with the principles and characteristics of PMRI. The technique for collecting data was test which consisted of four questions. The result of the research shows that student's mathematical communication ability of angle relationships through PMRI learning is categorized as medium with the details as follow: 4 students are categorized as very good; 11 students are categorized as good; 2 students are categorized as enough; 3 students are categorized as low and 6 students are categorized very low. Furthermore, the percentage of studems who meet the highest mathematical communication indicator is in the written text that reaches 53.85%. The percentage of students who meet the lowest mathematical communication indicator is a mathematical expression indicator that only reaches 25%.
