- The title of this research, "Static Archieves Storage System in Library and Archival Matters Department of Musi Banyuasin Regency". The reason in electing this title of this research is there are less of human resources, less of facilities, and static arschieves storage is still traditionally. The purpose of this research to describe static archieves storage system in library and archival matters department of Musi Banyuasin Regency. The type of this research iss descriptive,by using qualitative method. Sources of data be used primary data and secondary data. The technic in collecting the data are coming from doing observation, interview and documentation. This research used 5ystem theory from Laudon and Laudon and Odger, including input, processing, output, feedback and controlling. The result shows that there are less of human resources, especially archivist becaused lot o.f people don 't know about archivist, archivist must come from governmental officer and following education and training, the impact is being late of finishing process caused of there's only one archivist. Less of facilities caused of less of budget. The equipment of curing archievest still traditional. It has relativity with less of budget, and also the location had no supported to apply fumigation. The impact it's still consist in traditional way, like spread the comphor as the best way to cure the archieves. In this research, the observer gives the solutions, like evaluate aboutless of human resources in library and archival matters department of Musi Banyuasin Regency, to make more wide the archieve building, team work between archivist and another staff needed elevate and training of archieve must keep going.
