  • The research was aimed to compare the yam bean seeds produced in organic and inorganic cultivation. Seed production was conducted at field exprement while seed quality was conducted at seed laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University. The research was conducted from August to December 2017. Data analysis used T-Test. They were two treatments and four replications (organic and inorganic). The results of exprement showed that quality of yam bean seeds which were produced was organic cultivation were compared to those produced inorganic for all parameters namely by seeds moisture content, seed germination, rate of germination, length of plumula, length of radicle and seed dry weight compared to organic cultivation.
