  • The purpose of this study to determine the effect of applying affective learning strategies to improving students' humanist attitudes on the learning eyes of class XK PPKn in SMA Negeri 12 Palembang. This type of research uses correlation with quantitative approach. The population in this study is all students of class XI in SMA Negeri 12 Palembang 227 students. Sempel picking technique that is used is purposive sampling, that is students from two classes of XI IPA 3 and XI IPA 4 which is considered enough to represent all students of class XI. Data collection techniques were obtained using documentation, questionnaires and observations. Based on data analysis test with Product Moment correlation formula. That the value of r arithmetic is obtained by 0.279, then the reliability coefficient obtained by Cronbach's Alpha = .715. So reliability test data with significant alpha coefficient of 5% where Cronbach's Alpha = 0.782> significance value 279. In other words the results of this study have received the hypothesis Ha and reject Ho. Based on these results can the authors conclude that the influence of applying affective learning strategies on improving students' humanist attitudes, which means improving the humanist attitude of students sanggat influenced by affective learning strategies.
