PENGARUH METODE WHO WANTS TO BE A SMART STUDENT TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK PADA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI DI SMA NEGERI 5 PALEMBANG

- This research aims to prove the influence of who wants to be a smart student method towards students learning result on economy subject in State Senior High School 5 Palembang. This research is an experiment research that used pre-experimental design methods with one group pre-test & post-test design form. Population of this research is all of the X IPS class in State Senior High School 5 Palembang. Sample of this research is cluster random sampling technique so that X IPS 2 class be obtained as the experiment class that consists of 24 students. Technique for collecting data was used test and observation. Technique of data analysis of learning result obtained from pre-test and post-test which after calculated its score then grouped according to the category of learning outcomes, while for technique of observation data using percentage form. The hypothesis test is by using parametric statistics test t-test. Based on the test data analysis result, it is known that there was an average increase of 28.5 which means all of the students in experiment class achieving the score above KKM. The result of observation data analysis is satisfactory categorized which is 96.7%. The result of hypothesis test is obtained tcount value = 24.38 > ttable = 1.680 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it could be conclude that there is influence of who wants to be a smart student method towards students learning result on economy subject in State Senior High School 5 Palembang. It is suggested in applying who wants to be a smart student method pay more attention to instructional media in presenting question to learners and be able to organize the class when forming a groups.
