- Non-smoking areas in Restaurant have been implemented but there are still violating. The purpose of this research is to analyze factors that affecting the attitude according to the variable of (personal experience, influence of others, mass media and culture) along with the visitors knowledge about non-smoking areas at North Indralaya’s Restaurant 2018. This research is a descriptive qualitative. Informants in this research consisted of 12 visitors, 2 owners, and 4 employees at Pagi Sore and Sederhana Restaurants. The methode of selecting informants in this research is using purposive sampling methode. The techniques to collection data are done by in-dept interviews, document review and observations. The result of this research shoes that most of informant, already know about area without smoking, but there are still smokers feels common to smoking in the restaurant. Informants knowed about area without smoking but there are still breakes the rules. Personal experience, most of informants ever warn person who smoking in the restaurant. The influences of people who smokes in the restaurant not only because of their own will. Informants know about area without smoking rules, but there still an exposed area of tobacco smokes. The informants opinion about smoking in the area without is not good, but there still smokers in theat area. Based on the result of this research can be concluded that most of informants already obey the rule in the restaurant, but there still person who breaks the rules. Suggestions for the restaurant management is to gibe a sanction toward the area without smoking rule breaker.
