- this research is motivated by the problem of employee discrepancies found in terms of timeliness when they come to the office. on the other hand. leaders should also pay attention to the discipline of employee time so that performance of each employee can increase. and then the type of this study is a type of quantitative descriptive research. this study was conducted with a sample of 75 respondents, namely permanent employ at pt kereta api indonesia (persero) divisi regional 111 palembang and carried out between february until june 2018. and data collection methods were completed by method questionnaires, observation and stuctured interviews. from the result of the study, it was found that there was an effect of the effectiveness of persuasive communication on employee performance. the relationship between persuasive communication effectiveness variables from superiors to subordinates has a significant influence on employee performance because with the presence of persuasive commwnication will produce good performance and vice versa.
