  • The purposes of this research are: 1) to describe perceptions of pineapple farmers of climate change in Burai Village, 2) to describe adaptation climate change by pineapple farmers to climate change in Burai Village; 3) to calculate pineapple farmer's income before and after climate change in Burai village. Site selection wass done purposively with the consideration that the Village Burai is an area that cultivates pineapple plants. Sampling method in this research was done by purposively by criteria; sample has pineapple farmin and have been doing farming for five years, sample taken amounted 30 farmers. The data used include primary data and secondary data. The results show that farmers' perceptions of climate change in Burai Village were: the farmers know and have heard about climate change or global warming, farmers feel the impact of climate change on their lives, such as; temperatures that are getting hotter or colder, the winds blow harder, the wetter or summer season was longer and the seasons are uncertain. Farmers feel the impact of climate change on farming, such as; have experienced a decrease in the number and quality of farming production, have experienced drought or flood, felt difficult to cultivate land and pest attack on plant diseases. Adaptation strategy made by pineapple farmer is: economic adaptation that is by utilizing saving to keep fulfill requirement, ecological adaptation that is by add use of fertilizer, social adaptation that is by utilizing social network with relatives. Then in the case of pineapple farmer income in Burai Village there was a significant difference between before and after climate change with t-test result of Paired Samples t test, t-count value is 7,553 bigger than t-table (0,05,29) = 2.045 which means there is a tendency of decreased income of pineapple farmers after climate change, this is caused by rainfall in 2017 high, uncertain climate and fruit season at the same time.
