  • This research is a qualitative research entitled "Public Relations Strategy In Runing Of DJrporate Social Responsibility Of PT. Kereta Api IndoneSUI (Persero) Divisi Regional lll Palembang ". The purpose of this research is to detem1ine the strategy of public relations in channeling corporate social responsibility program. In this research is using the Theory of Scoot M. Cutlip & Allen H Center stated that the process of planning work programs of public relations that became the basis or reference to pe,:form the implementation. (Rosady Ruslan, 2010: 148-149). Strategy according to Cutlip included the definition of the Problem, Planning and Programming, Action and Communicating, and Evaluation the Program. Data collection techniques in this study is by in-depth interviews, observations, and documentations. The results of this research indicate that Public Relations Strategy In Running Corporate Social Responsibility PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional Ill Palembang from the process of acceptance or selection the proposal based on the problems needed by the people who are in the operasiona/ area then there are two stages of selections namely administrative selection and interview selection, site survey, planning and programming conducted by the implementation team of CSR to the realization of the program conducted by EVP direct location and evaluation program which done by The Ministry BUMN, Head Office, EVP (Executive Vice President) and Implementation Team. The stretegy by PR has already running well although there are still shortcomings in the process of targetting the community which still happen in the area of PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divre Ill Palembang.
