  • The discipline of an employee will always affect the performance results so that every employee is always required to have high discipline. The degree of indiscipline of employees is marked by the level of absenteeism and the implementation of built-in control that is not followed up properly so that potentially becomes an obstacle to the achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to determine the influence of the success of supervision attached to the discipline of employees in the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives of South Sumatra Province. This research entitled "The Influence of builtin control on Employee Discipline in the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives of South Sumatra Province". This research uses Hasibuan concept (2009: 194). The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The dependent variable in this research is the success of the inherent supervision and the independent variables of this research is the discipline of the employees. Respondents in this study are employees in the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives of South Sumatra Province amounting to 77 respondents. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the success of inherent supervision significantly affect the discipline of employees in the Secretariat of the Regional Representative Council of South Sumatra Province. This study proves that the performanceof built-in control affects employee discipline, it is advisable for the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives of South Sumatra Province to increase inherent supervision and to further improve employee discipline.
