- This study aims to analyze the pattern of child care in the poor family in Rambutan village of Rambutan sub-district ofBanyuasin. This study use the concept ofThoha's the pattern ofchild care. The method used in this research in qualitative research method. Design of case descriptive qualitative. The research location is located in the Rambutan village of Rabutan sub-district of Banyuasin. 1nformant determination by purposive. The unit of analyze used is the group of poor family. Data collection techniques used were getting in, getting along and getting out. In this study, research strategy used case study. Inspection technique and data validity used are triangulation of source and triangulation of data. Data analyze technique that is process of analyze before data reduction, data presentation, and examination of conclusion or verivication. In brief, the result of this study is that thepattern of child care in the poor family in Rambutan village of Rambutan sub-district of Banyuasin apply a variety of parenting patterns, democracy, authoritarian, and permissive.
