- The problem stud;ed ;n this research is how communUy empowerment through CSR by PT Tania Selatan in East Burnai Village Pedamaran District of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research uses qualitative research. Data were collected by in-depth interview, observation and documentation. Informants in this study amounted to IO people. The data obtained were processed by case study. Forms of community empowerment conducted by PT Tania Selatan through CSR to the community in the form of mushroom cultivation, physical facility assistance, livestock feeding, and educational program. Empowerment process undertaken by PT Tania Selatan is by conducting initial approach through socialization, identification of problems and needs of the community, planning activities according to community needs, implementation of activities, and program evaluation. As for the obstacles encountered in implementing this empowerment is the limitations of mushroom cultivation tools, lack of tools and building materials from the PT, the lack of community participation, low levels of community human resources, as well as a special requirement in obtaining scholarships.
