This study aimed to determine the effect on profitability, asset structure, liquidity, and company size on Capital Structure in basic and chemical industry companies that have gone public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2016 . The type of this research was quantitative with the sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling technique while for data collection in this study carried out with documentaries sourced from financial report data reported on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis tool in this study used classical assumptions and hypothesis testing in this case using F test simultaneously and the t test partially. The results of the tests conducted indicate that the profitability and size of the company do not have a significant effect on DER while liquidity and asset structure have a negative influence on DER
