  • This study aims to determine the communication strategy used by "Partnership and Community Development Program" Department in the implementation of Kampung Hortikultura Program of PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja (Pusri) Palembang which is also an effort in establishing and maintaining harmonious relationship with the surrounding community. Data and information in this research were obtained by in-depth interview method, non participative observation, document study and analyzed descriptively. From the results of the research, it was found that the communication strategy of "Partnership and Community Development Program" Department in the implementation of Kampung Hortikultura Program of PT Pusri Palembang are first selecting several communicators, second determining the message content and frequency of message delivery, third selecting media delivery of both face-lo:face media, print media, and social media, fourth determining the target audience or communicant based on the results of social mapping conducted by PT Pusri Palembang, and the last is to see the effects from interactions and communication activities made during the communication process.
