- Abstract Lamongan society generally only recognize performing arts Sandur and Tayub. In addition to the two performing arts, there are also gemblak Dor performing arts are no less interesting. Some people interpret that gemblak derived from Roxburgh is a term that refers to a pet that is used as a principal Warok horsemen jathilan existing in the arts Reog Ponorogo. Meanwhile, in the village of Dor gemblak Slaharwotan a folk performing arts since grown and developed within the community. The term is derived from the word Dor gemblak "Mblak" which reads from the instrument kendangnya and "Dor" is derived from the instrument of accession jidor, so that the villagers call gemblak Slaharwotan Dor. Problems in this study were, (1) how the origins of the show Gemblak Dor in the village Slaharwotan? (2) how to structure the show Gembak Dor? (3) What is the function of performing arts in the local community Gemblak Dor? The purpose of the study, to describe the origin of the emergence of performing arts in the village of Dor Gemblak Slaharwotan, shape the show, as well as performing arts functions gemblak Dor in the surrounding communities. The method uses a qualitative descriptive study. Location of this research is in the villages Slaharwotan, sub Ngimbang, Lamongan. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Analysis of the data used is the domain and taxonomy. The validity of the data used is triangulation of sources and methods The results of this study: performing arts Gemblak Dor is acculturation brought into Lamongan by a group of singers from Nganjuk and Jombang, developing rural districts Slaharwotan Ngimbang Lamongan. Gemblak Dor performing arts gemblak consists of dancers Ayon-Ayon, jaranan, jepaplok , pentul, tembem and genderuwo. The structure consists opening of the show, the show attractions, and cover. Gemblak Dor has a primary function consisting of the means of ritual, entertainment, and aesthetic presentation. While the secondary function consists of a binder solidarity means komunikasi.Beside community groups and primary and secondary functions are functions of the physical response that can provide physical stimulus members.
