- The raw data comes from websites of the US Department of transportation. So the data can be accessed from their websites. We use several datasets from the U.S. Department of Transport. The first is the Airline On-Time Performance dataset per month for 2016:https://www.transtats.bts.gov/Tables.asp?DB_ID=120&DB_Name=Airline%20On-Time%20Performance%20Data&DB_Short_Name=On-Time Our second datasource is the Schedule B-43 Inventory dataset on airplane characteristics.
