- The recent Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19) epidemic is spreading all over the world. So far, no specific effective treatment has been developed for COVID-19 except for meticulous supportive care including critical care and organ support when necessary. Evidence shows that convalescent plasma from patients who have recovered from viral infections could be used as a treatment without the occurrence of severe adverse events when a specific treatment is not available. Hence, we provides an overview of convalescent plasma as a possible therapy for COVID-19.
