- The artificial instance considers fifteen parts and thirty suppliers. Each supplier can produce two or three parts. For each part, there are between four and six supplier candidates. Additionally, for each part, $30\% - 50\%$ of the candidates have `low' risk scores, $30\% - 50\%$ are `medium' risk, and $0\% - 34\%$ may be `high' risk. These values were chosen based on the aerospace industry's characteristics but could be tailored for other circumstances.
