- Based on the data, we examined the role of risk perception in the relationship between community participation and protective action in the context of hazardous chemicals. The data file contains raw data collected by online platform in the year of 2017. 1700 questionnaires was collected from six cities in china where has typical characteristics of hazardous chemicals accidents, such as Zhangzhou, Zibo, Lanzhou, Changzhou, Chongqing, and Tianjin. The data include (1) the performance of demographic characteristics, include sex, age, marital status, etc. (2) the characteristics of public community participation, risk perception and protective action intention.
