- Morphologies/distributions of α′′ produced by stretching/rolling found to be similar. With small deformation, α′′ martensite consists of parallel lamellar structures. For larger deformations, martensite has ladder-like pattern and parallel ellipsoids. Hardness first decreases, then increases, with increase in deformation.
