  • Data are the outcome of an experiment on wild superb fairy-wrens resident in the Australian National Botanic Gardens. The experiment was designed to see if birds could learn socially to recognise unfamiliar sounds as alarm calls, and specifically by associating known alarm calls with unfamiliar ones, without also having to see a predator.
