The lateral SOC erosion and deposition caused by water erosion were quantified, and the spatiotemporal variation characteristics of lateral SOC movement were extracted. By comparing the SOC erosion rate, precipitation and NDVI changes in 58 counties covered by the eight river basins in 1995&#x2013;1996 and 2010&#x2013;2012, and based on the correlation analysis between SOC erosion rate and precipitation, we analyzed how climate and vegetation changes affect lateral SOC transfer.</description><subject>Erosion</subject><contributor>Wang, Xiaoyuan</contributor><contributor>Wang, Yawen</contributor><contributor>Tong, Chuan</contributor><contributor>Yuan, Wenping</contributor><type>Other:Dataset</type><identifier>10.17632/b2445f5dmy.1</identifier><rights>Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International</rights><rights>http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0</rights><relation>https:/data.mendeley.com/datasets/b2445f5dmy</relation><date>2019-09-23T02:18:46Z</date><recordID>0.17632-b2445f5dmy.1</recordID></dc>
