- To explore the effects of different concentrations of Gynostemma pentaphyllum polysaccharides (GPP) on mouse peritoneal macrophages, in this study, neutral red phagocytosis, Griess's reaction, enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and quantitative reverse transcription PCR (qRT-PCR) were used to determine the phagocytic function, proliferation ability, Nitric oxide (NO)secretion, Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), Tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α), Interleukin 1β( IL-1β) secretion, and the expression of macrophage calmodulin (CaM) and stimulatory G protein α (GSα) gene mRNA.
