- Relative levels of metabolites in skin samples from healthy controls (HC) and from healthy skin and lesions of HS patients (H-HS and L-HS, respectively) are compared. A total of 500 biochemicals were identified in our dataset. Metabolite data were log2-transformed and normalized using Pareto scaling. The statistical analysis was performed on R software using the limma package. False discovery rates (FDR) were calculated using the Benjamini-Hochberg method.
