- In this analysis, the writer discussed about Sadomasochism, in the film entitled Secretary Movie, this film as the main data source of this research. The purpose of analysis to gain the existence of sadomasochism as one of sexual preference in Secretary Movie. Then, the writer applied psychosocial approach, sadomasochism theory, cinematography aspect and previous studies to describes the quotations related to the analysis to prove the answer of problem formulation. This applied library research in finding and gathering the data needed. The data were taken from the sequence and dialogue from Secretary Movie. Finally, the writer can prove the existence with characteristics of sadomasochism there are pleasure sense, motivates, painful activities, self aggression, behavior and physical pain.
