The writer uses American Psycho novel, psychological approach, and psychopathic personality theory. The writer uses qualitative research and library research which tries to explain about psychopathic personality disorder’s symptoms in Bateman’s character.
The results of this study is, the major character from American Psycho novel is a psychopath. It can be seen from the narration and the dialogue in the novel.
