The writer uses American Psycho novel, psychological approach, and psychopathic personality theory. The writer uses qualitative research and library research which tries to explain about psychopathic personality disorder&#x2019;s symptoms in Bateman&#x2019;s character.&#xD; The results of this study is, the major character from American Psycho novel is a psychopath. It can be seen from the narration and the dialogue in the novel.
