- This research discussed about the correlation between Students’ SelfRegulation and their Achievement in Learning English at Islamic Junior High School Al-Qasimiyah Sorek 1 Pelalawan Regency. There were 3 formulations of the problems, they were: (1) how is students’ Self-Regulation at Islamic Junior High School Al-Qasimiyah Sorek 1 Pelalawan Regency (2) how is students’ achievement in learning English at Islamic Junior High School Al-Qasimiyah Sorek 1 Pelalawan Regency (3) Is there any significant correlation between students’ self regulation and their achievement in learning English at Islamic Junior High School Al-Qasimiyah Sorek 1 Pelalawan Regency. This research was a correlational research. The questionnaire and documentation were administered and distributed to the 41 students to be the respondents. The collected data were analyzed using Pearson “r” Product Moment Correlation using SPSS 16.0 program in order to find out whether or not there was any significant correlation between self regulation and the achievement in learning English of the students at Islamic Junior High School Al-Qasimiyah Sorek 1 Pelalawan Regency. The result showed that the coeficient of robserved were higher than rtable at both 5% and 1% level of significant 0.316<0.581>0.408. It means that the null Hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative Hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. It is concluded that there is a significant correlation between students’ self regulation and their achievement in learning English at Islamic Junior High School Al-Qasimiyah Sorek 1 Pelalawan Regency.
