- The research was conducted in November to December 2013 in the city of Pekanbaru farm people. This research aims to estimate the body weight of goat kacang and goat jawarandu by siza using linear regression analysis. Male goat kacang used in this research ware 61, female goat kacang 43, male goat jawarandu 106 and female goat jawarandu 27.Observed variables in the research ware body weight, the height of the back body, the height of the shoulder, the length of the body and covering the circumference of the chest. The mean estimate of body to pass length of the body is 0,027, the mean estimate of body to pass the height of the shoulder is 1,351, the mean estimate of body to pass the height of the back body is 0.019, the mean estimate to pass covering the circumference of the chest is 0,016. The results of this research in show that body size most accurate to estimate body weight is covering the circumference of the chest.
