- The objective of the study were to determine the rate of the increasing of the body size of the bali cattle, the length of the body, the circle of the cheast, the soulder height, and the height of the hip, feeding with the grass field of the palm oil plantation and the nidrib of the palm leaves during the adaptation period. The experimental animal were 9 females with the average age 1.5 years, and the average of the body weight were 120 kg. The experiment were conducted using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) that consisted of 3 treatnents i.e. (A) feeding with 100% grass field of palm oil plantation, (B) 50% grass field + 50% palm oil leaves and 50% palm leaves and midrib of the palm oit plant; and (C) 100% of palm oil leaves and midrib. The experiments were replicated 3 times. The measured parameters were the body length, the circel of the cheast, the height of the soulder, and the height of the pelvic. The result of the experiments indicated that the morphometrics of female bali cattle were not significantly different (P≥0.05). The average body weight of the female body length of the bali cattle feeding with the grass field of the palm oil plantation were 81.36±1.35 cm, the circle of the cheast were 117.26±4.87 cm, the height of the soulder were 99.59±2.42 cm; and the height of the hip 96.94±2.64 cm. The bali cattle feeding with the combination of the grass field of the palm oil plantation and the palm leaves midrib, resulted in the average body length were 82.10±2.85 cm, the circle of the cheast were 122.87±7.19 cm, the approximate of the height of the shoulder were 99.07cm±2.60, the height of the hip were 99.81±2.05 cm. The average of the body size of the bali cattle fed with the palm oil leaves and mid rib indicated that the length of the body were 82.34±4.70 cm, the circle of the cheast were 113.33±3.92 cm; the shoulder height were 98.89±1.00 cmand the height of the hip were 98.32±11.13 cm.
