  • Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing is a multicarrier transmission technique that divides the highspeed serial data into parallel subcarriers orthogonal to each other at relatively low speeds. With orthogonal properties, the overlap between the subcarriers. Each subcarrier has a narrow bandwidth, makes the signal resistant to frequency selective. Weakness OFDM vulnerable to frequency offset errors of the Doppler shift in the mobile channel. On channel mobile-to-mobile Rayleigh fading greater the Doppler shift causes a Doppler spread wide. For channel estimation was done to address this problem. In this study used channel estimation technique based on block type pilot and comb type pilot. Pilot block type will be estimated by least squares and minimum mean square error, while the comb type pilot will be estimated by linear interpolation and second order. Performance estimates will be tested with the mean square error and zero forcing equalizer based on BER. Channel estimation by block type pilots provide simulation results that are less good. Channel estimation with pilot type comb using a second order interpolation gives a pretty good simulation results for normalized Doppler frequency of 0.06 reaching 10-3 BER with Eb/ No of 26 dB and MSE of 0.0012. Keywords : Doppler spread, estimation, interpolation, least squares, minimum mean square error.
