- This thesis with title “Metode dan Corak Penafsiran Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai (Study Terhadap Tafsir Al-Ahkam)” thet describe about method and color of tafsir an ulama named Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai, he was born in Binjai Sumatera Utara of south in 1901 and wasdied in 1969. He named Tafsir al-Ahkam because only menafsirkan thet related with a law. This tafsir published at the firs XX eara, and used Indonesia language. Lake this tafsir become one special for Indonesia and Sumatera citizen. Tyhan tafsir of low that used another Arabian language, it cause public cityzen easier to identified law of al-Quran. The creted by Abdul Halim Hasan Binjai better then the era. His modern thinking tolerance, so it was solve the proplem that era, such fanatical of cityen about mazhab and specipik group. In general, this tafsir used maudu’i method because he was arrange one kitab tafsir was content of laws from al-Quran, but in this penafsiran from ayat perayat he was used method of tahlyly and coloring of law.
