pedagogical competency is needed to be conducted by every teacher because
teacher is a person who is responsible in teaching and educating.
By pedagogical competency in learning process in educating and guiding
his students. In general pedagogical competency is the capability related to
students’ understanding and processing the educative and dilogical learning.
The formula of this research is how teacher’s pedagogical competency in
learning process of Islamic education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul
Ma’arifiyah Pangkalan kerinci district of Pelalawan and what the factors
influenced it.
The techniques used in collecting the data are documentation, observation,
interview. The technique used in analyzing the data is qualitative descriptive
techniquewith percentage, the writer uses he formula :

The result of teacher’s pedagogical competency in learning process of
Islamic education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Ma’arifiyah Pangkalan
Kerinci district of Pelalawan is categorized low, this can be seen from the result
which have been obtained is about 75% and it is between 75%-100%. As for the
factor influenced teacher’s pedagogical in the process of Islamic education is
teacher academic background, teaching experience, facilities, and there
