So that&#xD; pedagogical competency is needed to be conducted by every teacher because&#xD; teacher is a person who is responsible in teaching and educating.&#xD; By pedagogical competency in learning process in educating and guiding&#xD; his students. In general pedagogical competency is the capability related to&#xD; students&#x2019; understanding and processing the educative and dilogical learning.&#xD; The formula of this research is how teacher&#x2019;s pedagogical competency in&#xD; learning process of Islamic education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul&#xD; Ma&#x2019;arifiyah Pangkalan kerinci district of Pelalawan and what the factors&#xD; influenced it.&#xD; The techniques used in collecting the data are documentation, observation,&#xD; interview. The technique used in analyzing the data is qualitative descriptive&#xD; techniquewith percentage, the writer uses he formula :&#xD; P = &#xB4;100%&#xD; N&#xD; F&#xD; Note&#xD; P= The number of percentage&#xD; F= The frequency which is searcing&#xD; N= The amount of frequency&#xD; The result of teacher&#x2019;s pedagogical competency in learning process of&#xD; Islamic education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hidayatul Ma&#x2019;arifiyah Pangkalan&#xD; Kerinci district of Pelalawan is categorized low, this can be seen from the result&#xD; which have been obtained is about 75% and it is between 75%-100%.
