  • ABSTARCT Dita Anggraini, (2019): The Use of Demonstration Method in Teaching Speaking at State Junior High School Tapung Hilir Kampar. This study was aims to determining the effect on the students’ speaking ability being taught before and after taught by using Demonstration method which were measured by using speaking test. This study focus the influence in the use of demonstration method in improving students’ speaking ability, espcecially in precedure text for the ninth grade students at State Junior High School 5 Tapung Hilir Kampar. This research is experimental research with the reseearch design is pre-experimental research. The researcher took 24 students as a sample of 107 of the total population becomes an experimental class which was given a test. The test is in form of oral tet given to the students in experimental data result shows that the null hyphothesis (Ho) is rejected, while the alternative hyphothesis (Ha) is accepted. It is found that there is a significant effect between students’ speaking ability before and after taught by using demonstration method at State Junior High School 5 Tapung Hilir Kampar.
