- ABSTRACT Name : Yogi Andriansyah Panjaitan Department : Communication Title : Media Relations Activities of the Bank Indonesia of Riau Branch in Providing Information about the Gerbang Pembayaran Nasional (GPN) Policy The Bank Indonesia is an institution that requires an important role for public relations in fostering good relations with the media so that the goals of the institution can be achieved. This is because the media is an extension of public relations by conducting media relations activities. This study aims to know how is the Media Relations of Bank Indonesia Riau Province in delivering information on the National Payment Gate (GPN) policy. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. This study uses two data sources namely secondary data and primary data. Data collection is done through observation, interview and documentation. This study finds that the media relations activities carried out by Bank Indonesia in Riau Province in delivering information on the National Payment Gate (GPN) policy include Press Reception, Special Events (GPN RUN, GPN Socialization and BI Teaching Public Lectures), Radio Talkshow, Press Release, Public Service Announcements and Electronics Communications.
