PENGARUH NAUNGAN DAN KONSENTRASI URINE SAPI TERFERMENTASI TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN KANDUNGAN TRITERPENOID TANAMAN PEGAGAN (Centella asiatica (L.) Urban)

- Indian pennyworth is a plant that is widely used as herbal medicine because it contains chemical compounds one of them is triterpenoid. The purpose of this research was to obtain the best shade and concentration of fermented cattle urine on growth and triterpenoid contain of Indian pennyworth plants. This research was conducted from February to June 2016 at research farm, Agronomy Laboratory, and Pathology, Entomology and Microbiology Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture and Animal Science of State Islamic University Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. This research uses Separate Plot Design (Split Plot Design) which consists of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor are shade: 0% and 25%. Second factor are the concentration of cattle urine: 0%, 20%, 40% and 60%. The results from the research showed that 25% shade treatment increased the length of the longest leaf stalk and the widest leaf width of the Indian pennyworth plant. Provision of concentration cattle urine of 20% increased the number of stolon of the Indian pennyworth plant. The interaction of 0% shade and 0% of concentration cattle urine increased the number of leafs of Indian pennyworth plants.
