The design was a quasiexperimental&#xD; research with Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The main&#xD; focuses of this research were to find out students&#x2019; vocabulary mastery taught by&#xD; using comic and taught without using comic. And, to find out whether there was&#xD; any significant effect or not using comic on students&#x2019; vocabulary mastery. The&#xD; writer formulated the problems that would be answered by using the quantitative&#xD; research. The subject of the research was the tenth grade students at Vocational&#xD; High School Ibnu Taimiyah. The object of this research was using comic and&#xD; students&#x2019; vocabulary mastery. The writer took two classes as sample and they&#xD; were taken by using cluster random sampling: experimental and control classes.&#xD; There were 60 students as sample from 147 students. To analyze the data, the&#xD; researcher used independent sample t-test by using SPSS 16.0 and effect size&#xD; formula by Julie Pallant. After analyzing the data, the researcher found that there&#xD; was a significant difference of comic on Students&#x2019; vocabulary mastery at students&#xD; of vocational High school ibnu taimiyah where to was 3.710 while the level&#xD; significance of 5% was 2.00 and the level significance of 1% was 1.67. It can be&#xD; read that 2.00&lt;3.710&gt;2.65. Thus, the researcher can conclude that Ha is accepted&#xD; and Ho is rejected.
